How does it work

The Hatch Factor kits are available FREE OF CHARGE to schools
We supply six fertilized Devonshire Red eggs, ready to hatch within three days
We also supply the incubator, easy to follow instructions and everything else you'll need
You set up the incubator in the classroom and incubate the eggs until they hatch
You transfer the chicks to the warm 'brooder box' with food and water (all supplied)
Watch, learn and enjoy as these fluffy chicks grow and develop in the classroom
Use the schemes of work and teaching aids supplied to make the most of the experience
The chicks will then be homed at The Big Sheep near Bideford, where children visiting with their families or school can follow their progress.
