Following on from our success at Halberton Farm Shop, near Tiverton, we were approached by Greendale Farm, near Farringdon and asked to run the butcher and deli departments within their popular Farm Shop.
Greendale Farm has a passion for producing the finest quality beef and lamb, some of which graze on the Jurassic Coast. The specific breed of cattle is a cross breed of the traditional local 'South Devon' with pedigree prize winning continental beef bulls. The beef is then hung at the shop butchery for a minimum of three weeks and cut on site by our master butcher.
Along with the usual quality cuts of meat and poultry and our own speciality sausages we offer our succulent cooked beef, pork, hams and turkey. Our delicious home made pasties are on offer also along with a selection of superb cheeses.
We opened on Friday 30th April and public response so far has been excellent.
