Ducks and Chicken

The heavy Creedy Carver Chicken, barn reared and farm fresh can weigh from 5 - 10lbs and is available in your local Lloyd Maunder butchers. At Creedy Farm they specialize in the production of barn reared and free range Chickens and Ducks whilst maintaining a sympathetic approach to additive free poultry.

Merrifield Farm is situated in the beautiful Devonshire countryside just outside of Crediton and about 7 miles from Exeter. Peter and Sue have worked the 72 acre farm for over twenty years and have achieved an excellent reputation for producing high quality Chickens. They have now been joined by their son James who has quickly gained a reputation for producing Ducks to a very high standard. The family pride themselves on producing top quality Chickens and Ducks that give true flavour of the product while maintaining a very sympathetic approach to bird welfare. Turkey and Geese

Barn Reared White Turkeys are kept in large open barns with plenty of room to move around and available in our shops. Thet are given fresh straw every day to keep them clean and happy. Orchard Grazed Free Range Bronze Turkeys are also kept in much the same way as the barn reared whites but are allowed out every day to roam in lush green orchards amongst the apple trees.

All our Turkeys and Geese are fed a natural diet produced with cereals sourced from Devon. No growth promoters are used, just good old fshioned breeds and plenty of time for them to mature on there own. Perfect.
