The Soil Association -the UK's leading environmental charity promoting sustainable, organic farming and championing human health. Lloyd Maunder's organic chicken are produced to the Soil Association's stringent standards.
RSPCA Freedom Food - the only UK farm assurance scheme dedicated to improving farm animal welfare. Lloyd Maunder's corn fed chicken are reared indoors to Freedom Food standards.
FWAG (Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group) - the UK's only independent and dedicated provider of environmental and conservation advice and consultancy to farmers and crofters. All Lloyd Maunder free range farms are inspected by FWAG and given a Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) to help encourage wildlife and wild habitats.
Duchy College – one of the leading land-based colleges in the country, known as Cornwall's college of the countryside. Lloyd Maunder worked with Duchy College to develop a new NVQ Level Three course which is now mandatory for all its chicken farmers, providing them with an independent formal qualification in poultry husbandry.
