Lloyd Maunder has pioneered specialist NVQ courses for the meat industry in health, safety, line management and operating efficiency, in co-operation with local colleges, and all new staff at our processing plant undergo basic health and hygiene training courses before taking up their posts.
Training and development of staff right up to director level is continuous. The company won its first Investors in People Award in 2002 (renewed until 2008) and has recently re-introduced technical apprenticeships. Amongst other achievements, we are proud of winning the national British Safety Council Awards for ten years in a row.
